Halloween is my favorite holiday. I l enjoy gathering with family for Thanksgiving. I have so much fun filling my kids stocking., I get excited about planning out what I will resolve in the new year and I appreciate sharing all kinds of love on Valentines day. Halloween though, is in my heart all year long. I wait for Halloween to hit the stores with baited breath, and I usually have a theme for the year in mind. This year has been about cauldrons and ghosts for me, but I am also really enjoy the dark carnival theme I have seen in a lot of shops this year.

All this to say, because is brings my so much joy, I am going to be sharing links to some of my favorite finds. All of the Amazon links are affiliate links, but items from other sites may not be. My primary purpose though is genuinely to share my finds so that other people can enjoy them with me!

I found these old fashioned silhouettes of a skeleton and witch and I think they go well with the old fashioned Halloween Carnival Theme.

These little Pumpkin Co

cottes are so cute and cozy. I think they would be great for making personalized cassaroles or pastas for the whole fall season. They are a little expensive, but they are also a really good brand that should last for years to come.

I collect witchy thing and I think this candleholder would cast really cool shadows around the room. I cannot wait to see what they look like!

I bought this blanket last year and it really does glow in the dark. My only issue with t is that my 14 year old son likes to steal it from me.

I just ordered these earcuffs and I cannot wait for them to arrive. They are adorable and I am particularly thrilled that I can wear them with other earrings.

I am a librarian by trade and a mom. When my boys were little we read at least one book every night, and often two or three. Our very favorites for Halloween were all by an author named Eve Bunting. They are over twenty years old now, but so, so good, and I want every parent with young children to know about these books! They are legitimately scary, but at a level and intensity that is appropriate for a toddler. My kids loved them!

Soup Season

Fall and winter are soup season for me. This week, I used my beautiful new cast iron cauldron from Smith&Clark to make one of my favorites- chicken corn chowder. This is a very simple soup that involv
